Hands of Hope Donation
The growing season is winding down and soon our garden beds will be readied for winter cover crops. However, our gardens continued to produce fresh organic veggies that we donated to the Hands of Hope Food Pantry for their Saturday pick-up day. Between the 2 gardens, Swales and Dwyer, we collected a combined total of 50 pounds of tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, string beans, kale, and carrots. We know how precious fresh produce is to food pantry recipients and we are so glad that we could help enhance their food baskets. We will be back next season with more fresh organic vegetables for sure!
